B-Wing was an Arts Council England funded exhibition at Shepton Mallet Prison, Shepton Mallet, Somerset UK 21 Sept - 6 Oct 2019. It was part of Somerset Art Weeks and curated by Fiona Campbell and Luminara Florescu.

Six artists and two writers set up various site responsive installations across 3 floors of the decommissioned Victorian prison. Please have a look at the B-Wing website  and @bwing2019 on Instagram for more details.

My site responsive installations were:

Red is the colour of ..., 2019

IN.BRS.2019.39 Shadow sacks over dark pool, 2019, a collaboration with Scott Sandford

Shadow sacks in the slopping out room, 2019

The presence of absence, 2019

I also facilitated two participatory installations:

Living sculptures at B-Wing, 2019

Feedback cell, 2019

I was extremely grateful to be able to trial a number of ideas for installations and to exhibit so much work in such an atmospheric space.
